I am a graduate of the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Science in Health Promotion and Behavior and am currently pursuing a second bachelor’s degree in nursing. My educational and professional experiences have allowed me to combine my passion for health promotion, patient care, communication, and service to others.

My background in health promotion provided me with a strong foundation in health education, program development, communication, website design, and document creation. Through coursework and hands-on experiences, I developed the ability to create engaging educational materials, communicate health information effectively, and design programs and resources that support the health and well-being of individuals and communities.

Since graduating from the University of Georgia, I have continued to expand my experience within the healthcare field while pursuing my nursing degree. Working directly with patients has strengthened my clinical knowledge, communication skills, adaptability, and commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care. These experiences have also reinforced my desire to pursue a career where I can make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

As I continue my journey toward becoming a nurse, I am excited to build upon my background in health promotion and growing clinical experience. My goal is to bring together health education, prevention, advocacy, and direct patient care to positively impact patients, families, and communities throughout my career in healthcare.
